Evening girls, I would join you Joan, but grandchildren have arrived, and I have just this minute managed to retrieve laptop from GD. They are such charming polite children and are really very self organised for their ages. They both put the garden debris in the waste bin, and my granddaughter watered the rear garden......think it was more of wafting hose over plants.....poor plants each got one drop. .Very Happy

We couldn't see how to connect aerial to main TV, so GS is playing games on his X box....no idea what that is. He also has found out to run the TV from that box via my wireless signal for computers....such clever children these days.

Just fed them, as mother brought bolognaise sauce and I cooked pasta. Not had my food yet.....just managed to grab a quick bath.

Daughter has swanned off somewhere......to meet her umpteenth toy boy. I am getting very worried about her mystery travels and hope she knows what she is doing. It is not something I would do, too much pride to chase men.....and not worth it anyway.

Now off to try and relax...shattered after work and suddenly having young people in the house after decades of my children leaving the nest.

Afternoon Koko, lovely seascape thank you.

I have copied this from GCC thread......due to not being able to sit at laptop, for long due to back agony!

Grandchildren were perfect, like mini adults only better behaved, and we all had sensible conversations about various subjects. They awoke about 8am, granddaughter all bright and breezy. GSon, comatose...typical boy. Straight on to his X box, while GD read her book. I lay on bed, read paper and attempted crosswords.

Just as well I couldn't go to work because of back agony, as dear daughter arrived at 1.30pm...full of herself.....hmmm. Told her I would only have them in future at weekends.

Couldn't understand why back had gone into spasm with shooting pains on both side, them remembered I had struggled bent over for 20 minutes trying to work out which of the four aerial sockets fitted into old TV......still no signal, not to worry, children gone home now.
Oh, my bedroom became very cosy this morning, as I thought it would...me lying on bed reading, and both of them sitting on easy chairs watching some programme on small flat screen TV.......really must try and work out how to connect the main TV in sitting room as I am sure daughter will be out searching for her third (20th) victim very soon.

No sign of Joan today?

Evening Koko and Joan,
Back from office via library for more books. A poor choice but managed to find four new ones, although not really my type of story.

Joan, sorry to hear you have had a bad week, but try and relax over the weekend. Clever you having a cat nap......that is something which escapes me...night or day. Back is a little better....thank you.

Must away to give plants a drink......have a nice evening all.

Evening girls,

Koko, purrfect image for me.......you've been peeping. Very Happy

I was at work yesterday and one bright spark said, I see you have left your transport outside.....and came in with a broomstick,...cheeky imp. Cool

Still raining here, so off for a bath......the one inside not out in garden. Have a nice evening all, nothing at all on the box tonight....again.
