Good morning Joan and Koko,

A sunny morning here today and I am off to daughters house for grandson's 13th birthday lunch. Already had two phone calls off her asking me to transfer further funds into eldest grandson's bank account. Full story on GCC thread......only hear from her when she wants something...usually money. Rolling Eyes

Have a nice day all....back later hopefully.

Hi Lillian, my report of the lunch fiasco is on the GCC thread........didn't eat a morsel for jumping out of my chair every time a wasp landed on me or my food. Trust daughter to keep every window in the house open!!!!

So pleased to hear your father enjoyed his tea, that must have been delightful for you. Sit down now and relax.....anything on the box tonight? Just listening to University challenge.

Hi June, read your fiasco, wasps are hateful things. Nothing on the box after Corrie.....Might watch that dome thing, missed last weeks though....

Evening Koko and Joan, hope you are both well.

A very long exhausting day for me at work. I have put a few words on the GCC thread if you wish to read it. Sorry to tired to rewrite it on here. Just braved watering the garden as the stripy stringers are out in force...really not funny when allergic to stings as I am.

Hope all is well with your father Lillian.

June

Hi all, dad seems to getting over his stay in hosp. got him disorientated when he got back to the home. Took dad to the quiet lounge at the home tonight, there is a piano there and he likes to play a bit, he plays by ear. Mum's favourite tune he plays, love changes everything, and smoke gets in your eyes. Garden watered as it's been a sunny day here......

Evening girls, back from another hectic day, and now looking forward to a long soak in bath.

Lovely cheerful pics Koko and Joan, just what we all need...thank you.

Came home from work and so wanted to sit in the sun, but didn't dare venture outside for being attacked by the stripy dive bombers. Really fed up with it and feel trapped in house.

Lillian, how lovely for you father to be able to play the piano. I also love the song  'Love changes every thing' but haven't heard it for ages. Did Michael Ball sings it...not up on music I'm afraid.

Now off for that soak. Have a nice evening all. Oh I couldn't log on for ages as my BB or the internet was down.

Edit: Think I am still having a problem as I can't see the avatars....must be my BB.

Evening Koko and Joan, late as usual, due to dratted work commitments....and now in the middle of dodging stripy missiles and trying to water garden. Another very warm day...I think, been indoors all day.

I really must try and track down our missing friends who used to post on this thread.  Sue and Glen, appear briefly on the other forum, and I suppose V is still beavering in her garden. Will ask Cynth when she appears.

Off to move hose spray thingy....and find fodder...nothing in as usual

Have a nice evening all.

Has any one seen Sandra, or has she gone into hibernation again......cooee, Sandra, where are you hiding? Cool

Evening Koko and Joan, still only the three musketeers I see. Very Happy

Very relieved it is Friday but could have done with one more day to catch up on backlog at work.

Koko, just what I need for dinner tonight.....although I doubt I could eat all of it......perhaps Holly would share.

Hi Sandra, glad to see you are still with us.....your as bad as me for working non stop....will we ever learn! It wasn't the forum causing lack of avatars, it was my BB connection on its way out again, needed rebooting to cool it down.

Oh gosh Joan, I have a dressing table brush set exactly like the one in your photo.....how strange.

Off to find a snack, so have a nice evening all.
